Frequently Asked Questions
How would you describe your style?
Our approach is candid, relaxed, and story-driven. We don’t over-direct or stage moments; instead, we let the day unfold naturally and capture the laughter, tears, and little in-between details that make your wedding unique.
Do you shoot both photo and video?
Yes! We’re a husband-and-wife team, and we offer both photography and videography. You can book us for just photos, just film, or both together. We love working as a team to tell your story in the most complete way.
Will you pose us?
Don’t worry, you won’t be standing awkwardly in front of the camera. We’ll give you gentle direction if needed, but mostly we focus on helping you feel comfortable and letting genuine moments shine through.
How many images do we get?
Every wedding is different, but typically you’ll receive 400–800 edited photographs (depending on your day and coverage). Minimum delivery is 350 images. Images are delivered in both colour and black and white. We don’t hold back on delivering the good stuff.
How long until we get our photos and film?
We aim to deliver your gallery within 15 days after the wedding. Films usually take 12 weeks to ensure the story is edited beautifully.
Do you travel?
Absolutely, we travel anywhere in the country and the world! Just let us know your plans, and we’ll put together a custom travel package.
Do you offer engagement shoots?
Yes, and we highly recommend them! It’s a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day, plus you’ll get a set of relaxed, natural photos to enjoy.
Do we meet before the shoot?
We hold a pre-wedding consultation, usually via Zoom, approximately 4–8 weeks before the day.
Do you offer albums?
Yes, we offer A3 layflat photo books. These cost £200, including postage.
Do you visit the venue before the wedding date?
No, we don’t visit venues before the date. Whilst visiting a venue beforehand can be useful, it tends to create an inconsistent expectation for the wedding day itself. Things such as the setup and layout of the venue, the lighting, and the weather will all be different on the actual day, and this can lead to preconceived ideas that may inhibit our ability to get the most out of your wedding.
Are photos high resolution?
All photos are high resolution, not watermarked, and not protected when you access them.
How do you take payment?
All payments are made via bank transfer. You will be provided with a client reference number to use for all payments, and we send a receipt following each payment.
What’s required to book?
We ask for a signed contract and deposit to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 28 days before the wedding.
Can we book extra hours on top of the packages?
Extra hours can be booked; these are at our discretion only. Additional hours are £250 each. If booked before the date of the wedding, payment is due before the day. If additional hours are requested on the day and agreed to, payment will be due before delivery of images.
Do you shoot full speeches and ceremony for video?
No, we produce a cinematic highlight video for the day; therefore, full speeches and ceremony audio will not be recorded.
What if it rains?
We are well prepared for any weather! Don’t worry, rain makes for beautiful, atmospheric photos, and we’ll help you embrace the mood of the day, whatever the forecast.
Can family and friends take photos during the ceremony?
That’s completely up to you. Some couples prefer an “unplugged” ceremony where guests can be fully present, while others love having lots of extra photos taken. We’ll work with whatever you decide.
Do you shoot groom prep and is there an extra charge?
Yes, we do shoot groom prep when booking the two-photographer package, but this depends on the distance between both preps. As long as they are 15 minutes or less away from each other, we will shoot this and it’s included in the package. We will discuss timings and logistics during our consultation (and we can when booking) to see what’s possible.
When just booking the one-photographer package, groom prep can be photographed as long as the couple are in the same location, with no extra charge.
